Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Clothing Treatment Apparatus And Method For Controlling Clothing Treatment Apparatus' Filed by Lg Electronics Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067050 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 14, for 'clothing treatment apparatus and method for controlling clothing treatment apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Minji; Kim, Jaehyung; Jang, Jinhyuk; and Kim, Seoyoun.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a clothing treatment apparatus that, when a drying cycle is performed, maintains the operation of a compressor until the drying cycle is completed or drying of clothes is completed, and operates a first heater or a second heater to increase the temperature inside an inner case to a set temperature or higher while the compressor is operating."
