MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019829 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 5, for 'clothing iron cord management device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clothing iron cord management device, comprising a plate 101 configured with multiple primary suction units 102 to affix plate 101 with surface, an imaging unit 103 installed over plate 101 to evaluates curvature of surface, multiple motorized hinge joints 104 integrated in plate 101 to regulate shape of plate 101 to grip surface securely, a motorized clamp 105 configured with top portion of plate 101 to engage electrical cord of a clothing iron by user, a telescopic rod 106 installed between clamp 105 and plate 101 to extend for elevating cord at an appropriate height, a microphone 107 mapped over plate 101 to receive voice command of user regarding relocation of plate 101, multiple motorized pop out balls 108 installed over inner periphery of plate 101 to provide translation to plate 101, multiple secondary suction units 109 are installed over inner periphery of clamp 105 to grip cord."
