MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017994 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'clothes steaming device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manita Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A clothes steaming device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having motorized omnidirectional wheels 102 for a locomotion of the base 101, an inverted U-shaped telescopic frame 103 for hanging of clothes, a water tank provided on the base 101, a primary heating element 105 generates steam from the water, a blower 106 configured with a primary nozzle 111 directs the steam onto the hanging clothes, two sliding units installed along the side portion of the frame 103, L-shaped telescopic rods having rectangular plates 107 at the ends attached on the frame 103, the plates 107 incorporated with secondary heating elements 104 for pressing the clothes for removal of wrinkles, an imaging unit 108 determine wrinkles on the clothes, a secondary nozzle 109 to spray the fragrant solution onto the clothes."
