MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019768 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'cloth cleaning assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include R. K. Jain; Dhruv Joshi; V. K. Tyagi; and Vandana Kanyal.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cloth cleaning assistive device comprises of an extendable body 1 having a first and second portion 2, 3, a U-shape handle 4 is configured with the first portion 2 developed to be utilized by a user for manually inserting the body 1 inside a bucket and engaging the handle 4 at periphery of the bucket to affix the body 1 with the bucket, a camera 5 mounted on the body 1 for capturing multiple images of interior of the bucket, a speaker 6 installed on the body 1 for notifying the user to fill more water within the bucket, an electronic nozzle 8 connected with the chamber 7 for dispensing a pre-fed amount of detergent powder within the bucket, a motorized propeller 9 mounted at second portion of the body 1 to rotate for generating a whirlpool for mixing the detergent within water and perform cleaning of cloths."
