MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024870 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'cloth changing assistive device for beach.'

Inventor(s) include Sanjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cloth changing assistive device for beach comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a ground surface at a beach, a weight sensor is positioned on the platform 1 for detecting presence of the user on the platform 1, a pneumatic plate 2 configured with the platform 1 for constructing an enclosure around the platform 1, a set of C-shaped members 3 installed with one of the plates, plurality of motorized hinges 4 configured with the members for tilting and deploying the members, a set of electronic nozzles 5 attached with a set of chambers stored with water, plurality of iris pores 6 configured with plates for drying the user's body, a microphone 8 positioned on one of the plates for enabling the user to give voice commands, a speaker 9 mounted on one of the plates for notifying the individual regarding presence of the user."
