MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541125705 A) filed by Sri Sai Ram Institute Of Technology, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 12, 2025, for 'closed loop wastewater management system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The project presents a compact wastewater recycling system designed to treat and reuse industrial or domestic wastewater efficiently. It integrates pH and turbidity sensors with automated monitoring to ensure water quality at each treatment stage. The system comprises primary, secondary, and tertiary treatment units, followed by a nutrient enrichment tank, which enhances the treated water for reuse in irrigation or other non-potable applications. This innovation aims to reduce freshwater consumption, minimize water pollution, and promote sustainable water management through low-cost automation and eco friendly design. The prototype demonstrates a practical solution for industries and communities to recycle wastewater effectively while maintaining environmental balance and resource efficiency."
