MUMBAI, India, June 16 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611055120 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on April 30, for 'closed loop operation of dc-dc boost converter.'

Inventor(s) include Anmol; Ayush; Danish; and Dr. Shubhendra Pratap Singh.

The application for the patent was published on June 5, under issue no. 23/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a closed-loop DC-DC boost converter designed to step up a lower input voltage to a higher, regulated output voltage. The converter employs a PWM controller IC and a compensator to maintain stable output voltage despite variations in input supply and load conditions. The closed-loop system demonstrates improved voltage regulation, stability, and dynamic response compared to open-loop systems, making it suitable for precision applications. The invention also explores future enhancements, such as digital control systems and efficiency optimization techniques, to further improve converter performance."
