MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517098652 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Oct. 13, for 'cleaning robot system.'
Inventor(s) include Chen, Ze; Wang, Xiaoliang; Wang, Meng; Liu, Xiaoming; and Zhao, Jianhao.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cleaning robot system, comprising: a self-moving cleaning device (100), wherein the self-moving cleaning device (100) comprises a machine body (110), a cleaning element (183), and a movement mechanism (181), the movement mechanism (181) is connected to the machine body (110) and the cleaning element (183) so as to drive the cleaning element (183) to ascend and descend relative to the machine body (110), the cleaning element (183) is detachably connected to the movement mechanism (181) by means of a first magnetic attraction assembly, and the cleaning element (183) is further provided with a first magnetic member (1831); and a base station (200), wherein the base station (200) is provided with an electromagnet (230), and a magnetic attraction force between the electrified electromagnet (230) and the first magnetic member (1831) is greater than the difference between the magnetic attraction force of the first magnetic attraction assembly and the gravity of the cleaning element (183). Automatic disassembly and separation of the cleaning element (183) and the movement mechanism (181) can be achieved, a user does not need to manually operate in the whole process, and the operation experience of disassembly of the cleaning element (183) is improved."
