MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537070347 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on July 24, for 'cleaning method and apparatus for cleaning robot, medium, and device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cleaning method and apparatus for a cleaning robot, a medium, and a device. The method comprises: performing obstacle detection to obtain a detection result; at least on the basis of the detection result and current cleaning parameters, determining a preset adjustment condition which is met by a cleaning robot and used for adjusting the cleaning parameters; adjusting the cleaning parameters by using an adjustment strategy corresponding to the preset adjustment condition so as to adjust the current cleaning parameters from predetermined first cleaning parameters to second cleaning parameters corresponding to a target obstacle in the detection result, or to adjust the current cleaning parameters from the second cleaning parameters corresponding to the target obstacle to the predetermined first cleaning parameters, wherein the cleaning intensity corresponding to the first cleaning parameters is higher than the cleaning intensity corresponding to the second cleaning parameters; and performing cleaning on the basis of the current cleaning parameters."
