MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517034693 A) filed by Animal Hospital Kyoto Inc., Kyoto, Japan, on April 9, for 'cleaning agent composition for animal and method for cleaning animal.'
Inventor(s) include Sonoda Yuzo; and Tanaka Hisaki.
The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[Problem] To provide a composition and a cleaning method that make it possible to remove greasy dirt easily and effectively without requiring running water. [Solution] The composition of the present invention contains water and from 0.01 mass part to 10.0 mass parts of calcium sodium phosphosilicate. Calcium sodium phosphosilicate includes a bioactive glass extract obtained by removing the bioactive glass from a bioactive glass containing solution that contains an aqueous solvent and a bioactive glass containing silicon dioxide calcium oxide sodium oxide and diphosphorus pentoxide. By applying the above composition to a part of an animal to be cleaned and wiping away the composition that has been applied to the part to be cleaned greasy dirt can be removed effectively without needing a washing step."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 10, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/040515.
