MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517088278 A) filed by Fain-Biomedical Inc., Aichi, Japan, on Sept. 17, 2025, for 'circulation liquid and lubricity adjusting agent.'
Inventor(s) include Ikeda Seiichi; and Ikeda Moritaka.
The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention realizes a lubrication characteristic that can withstand a pressing force equivalent to that at the time of inserting a catheter into a blood vessel of a real human body, even when a water-based circulation liquid is applied to a blood vessel model. This circulation liquid is to be used in a catheter simulator and contains a water-soluble polymer. The water-soluble polymer includes a water-soluble polymer having both a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group, and/or a mixture of a polymer having a hydrophilic group and a polymer having a hydrophobic group."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 09, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/036207.
