MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018862 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'child restraining device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A child restraining device, comprising a primary cylindrical hollow body 1 accommodated over wrist of a guardian, plurality of secondary circular hollow body 2 accommodated over wrist of children, a microphone 4 accessed by guardian to feed voice commands regarding distance to be maintained between guarding and children, a laser acuity sensor detects dimensions of guardian and children's wrist, an air compressor inflates an inflatable member for securing bodies 1, 2, two electromagnets expands/compresses each springs 3 for maintaining defined distance between primary and secondary bodies 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 detects walking pattern of guardian and children, vibrating unit 9 for generating vibrational sensations to alert guardian for matching walking pattern to prevent falling of children, a telescopically operated rod 6 extends and adhere a suction cup 7 on ground surface to provide support to children."
