MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025566 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'child accommodation device for crowded places.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A child accommodation device for crowded places, comprising a wearable body 1 worn by the user to accommodate the child over torso region, a harness 3 accommodated around the waist of the user by a string 4 for securing the child, plurality of laser sensor detect dimension of the user and the child, an air compressor inflates an inflatable member secures the body 1 with torso, an ultrasonic sensor detects dimensions of the child's waist, a primary motorized roller 5 rotate to wrap a strap installed with harness 3, an imaging unit 6 captures images of the user and child, a motorized slider 7 translate the plate 2 to position the child above the head of user, secondary roller rotate for wrapping/unwrapping the string 4."
