MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611010326 A) filed by Belectriq Mobility Pvt. Ltd., Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 31, for 'charging-station suggestion system and method for selecting charging stations.'

Inventor(s) include Shwetank Jain.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a charging-station suggestion system for generating a comparative charging-cost depiction for an electric vehicle. The system comprises a user device configured to provide at least one charging requirement parameter comprising a location input, a current state of charge of the electric vehicle, and a required state of charge. A database stores station records for a plurality of charging stations, each record comprising a station location, an electricity tariff, a time-dependent pricing schedule, and a charging-type power rating. A server receives the charging requirement parameter, retrieves station records corresponding to the location input, determines an energy requirement to raise the electric vehicle from the current state of charge to the required state of charge, evaluates a charging-duration estimate based on the charging-type power rating, computes a charging-cost breakdown, and transmits a comparative charging-cost depiction to the user device."
