MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202637025629 A) filed by Saic Gm Wuling Automobile Co. Ltd., Guangxi, China, on March 4, for 'charging method, apparatus and system, controller, and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of charging and discharging of new energy vehicles, and provide a charging method, apparatus and system, a controller, and a storage medium. Each time a storage battery is charged, multiple parameters of a vehicle are comprehensively considered, and the charging mode and the charging amount for the storage battery are dynamically adjusted, so as to achieve the purpose of saving energy. The method comprises: obtaining an adjustment strategy for the charging voltage of a storage battery according to the magnitude relationship between a first charge state of the storage battery and a target ideal charge state of the storage battery, wherein the adjustment strategy is to increase a charge state collected next time to reduce the voltage required for the next charging, or to reduce the voltage required for the current charging; according to the adjustment strategy, adjusting an initial charging voltage corresponding to the current temperature to obtain a charging voltage; and according to the charging voltage, controlling a charging and discharging assembly to charge the storage battery."
