Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Charging Management Device And Operation Method Thereof' Filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517130169 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 22, 2025, for 'charging management device and operation method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, You Na; Lee, Sol Nip; and Koh, Dong Wook.

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A charging management device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: a parameter extraction unit which extracts a plurality of parameters related to a battery cell; a core parameter selection unit which selects one or more core parameters from the plurality of parameters; and a depth prediction unit which predicts a depth of charge of the battery cell on the basis of the core parameters."
