MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013761 A) filed by TVS Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on Feb. 26, 2024, for 'charging device for a vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Pattabiraman Venugopalan; Raghav Saxena; Nabakrushna Pradhan; Joshi Harish Chary; Vinyas Rai Khandiga; Meganathan Mohankumar; Rejaul Karim; Vigneshwar Gajapathy; Aravind Adhi; Vinoth Murugan; Giritharan Sankar; Balla Svvssn Chaitanya Krishna; and Shrinivas Kulkarni.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A three wheeled passenger vehicle (100) comprising a front cabin (118) for a driving unit and a rear cabin (119) for a passenger seat assembly (112) and a 5 storage portion (222). The vehicle (100) also comprising a control unit which is configured to control a transfer of the energy between a power source and one or more energy storage units. Further, a charging device (104) is electrically connected the control unit and the power source. Furthermore, the charging device (104) is configured to be portably mounted in the storage portion (222) in the rear 10 cabin (119) of the vehicle (100)."
