MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005316 A) filed by Fil Investment Management Limited, London, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'chaos engineering.'
Inventor(s) include Sambhav Gaur; Saurabh Kaushik; and Abhishek Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A chaos engineering synthesising system comprisinga configuration user interface for receiving user inputs, an orchestration tool for compiling a chaos engineering test, and a chaos engineering toolkit comprising a set of chaos engineering tools is provided. The orchestration tool receives, from theconfiguration user interface, the user inputs, the user inputs comprising application location information associated with an application to be tested and an attack. The chaos engineering test is compiled based on the user inputs andexecutedby the orchestration tool. When executing the chaos engineering test, the orchestration tool selects a chaos engineering tool from the set of chaos engineering tools of the chaos engineering toolkit based on the user inputs, causes the selected chaos engineering tool to generate simulation inputs to simulate the attack, andprovides the simulation inputs to the application to be tested."
