MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414076362 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on Oct. 8, 2024, for 'channel state information reporting priority for lower-layer triggered mobility.'
Inventor(s) include Goyal, Sanjay; and Koskela, Timo.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method is provided that includes determining that at least two channel state information (CSI) reports are to be reported. The method includes calculating 5 priority values associated with the at least two CSI reports, at least one of the priority values calculated based on a determination that at least one of the at least two CSI reports is a lower-layered triggered mobility (LTM) CSI report. The method includes determining that a time occupancy of physical channels scheduled to carry the at least two CSI reports at least partially overlap on a carrier, the at least 10 two CSI reports thereby said to collide. And the method includes sending one or more of the at least two CSI reports that are said to collide based on the priority values."
