Inventor(s) include Malla Reddy Deemed to Be University; Bhiksha Gugulothu; Dr. P. S. V. Ramana Rao; Dr. N. Rishi Kanth; Dr. K. Rajesh Kumar; Dr. K. Mallikarjuna; S. Venkat Lakshman; Dr. Pramod Kumar P; Dr Srinivasa Rao Seeram; and Dr Kundurthi Bharadwaja,.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a method and system for the design and optimization of a gas turbine blade using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and structural analysis tools. A three-dimensional turbine blade model is developed using CREO Parametric and analyzed in ANSYS to evaluate thermal, aerodynamic, and mechanical performance under high-temperature operating conditions. Multiple blade configurations incorporating different cooling-hole arrangements are examined using titanium alloy and nickel-based superalloy materials. The invention identifies an optimal blade configuration that enhances heat transfer, maintains stable airflow characteristics, minimizes deformation, and reduces stress levels. The proposed approach improves turbine efficiency, durability, and operational reliability, making it suitable for advanced gas turbine applications."
