MUMBAI, India, March 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621009476 A) filed by Sage University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Jan. 30, for 'central processing unit architecture and method for real-time page ranking computation.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Prashant Jain; Dr. Sumit Jain; Dr. Dinesh Jain; Dr. Ati Jain; and Dr. Abhay Kothari.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a central processing unit (CPU) architecture (100) for real-time page ranking computation in search engines. The CPU architecture (100) comprises a plurality of ranking accelerator cores (102) configured to perform ranking computations on web graph data (122), a memory (104) storing the web graph data (122), and one or more hardware processors (106) operatively coupled to the ranking accelerator cores (102) and memory (104). The hardware processors (106) obtain a web graph (108) comprising nodes (116) representing web pages and edges (118) representing links. The hardware processors (106) analyze workload patterns using machine learning to generate a workload prediction model (120), dynamically distribute ranking computation tasks across the ranking accelerator cores (102) using reinforcement learning-based resource allocation, and generate an updated ranking output (112) within ten milliseconds of receiving a search query."
