MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072012 A) filed by Ares Trading S. A., Aubonne, Switzerland, on July 29, for 'cell lines for expression of lhcg receptor.'
Inventor(s) include Nevelli, Francesco; Dadone, Aurora; and Marconato, Katia.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention described herein relates to novel cell lines for the expression of a human LHCG receptor and for the expression of a human LHCG receptor together with a luciferase reporter gene. Also described are methods of preparing such cell lines. The cell line of the present invention expressing the LHCG receptor and the luciferase reporter gene is useable in a method for determining the presence and the biological activity of r-hLH and r-hCG samples."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 09, 2024, under International application No.PCT/EP2024/053369.
