MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517094114 A) filed by Lenovo (SINGAPORE) Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on Sept. 30, 2025, for 'cell discontinuous signaling configuration.'

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to cell discontinuous signaling configuration. An apparatus, such as a user equipment (UE), receives cell discontinuous signaling configuration from a network entity such as a base station. The cell discontinuous signaling configuration includes one or more of a cell discontinuous transmission (DTX) behavior or a cell discontinuous reception (DRX) behavior. The UE can apply the cell discontinuous signaling configuration to determine when to perform signal monitoring and/or signal transmission."
