MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074599 A) filed by Amgen Inc., Thousand Oaks, U.S.A., on Aug. 5, for 'cell culture methods.'
Inventor(s) include Khurshid, Madiha; Soice, Neil; Jacob, Nitya, Mariam; Pedroso, Jessica, A.; and Pehrson, Sidney.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosure provides non-steady state continuous perfusion cell culture methods for protein production in bioreactors. Cells are cultured in non-steady state after entering production phase such that the viability declines over time. Production of protein products using these cell culture methods is increased."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 25, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/012849.
