MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517055920 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on June 10, for 'cell change failure processing method and device, communication device, and storage medium.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a cell change failure processing method and device, a communication device, and a storage medium. The cell change failure processing method comprises: determining a change failure of at least one cell; and performing connection recovery. According to the present invention, when determining a change failure of at least one cell, a terminal may perform connection recovery to recover the connection between the terminal and the cell, thereby ensuring that the terminal can continue to keep communication, and avoiding communication interruption caused by no connected cell due to the change failure of at least one cell."
