MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202431078204 A) filed by Schneider Electric Industries Sas, Rueil Malmaison, France, on Oct. 15, 2024, for 'ceiling mounted electrical outlet assembly.'

Inventor(s) include Aravind Kumar Thippireddy.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a ceiling-mounted electrical outlet assembly (100) to connect an electrical fixture. The electrical outlet assembly (100) comprises a fixing frame assembly (101), a skeleton model (102) and an assembly of rigid-flex PCBA (104) to be fixed within said skeleton model (102). The fixing frame assembly (101) comprises a fixing frame (106), and a spring-loaded cable clamp (108) removably attached with said fixing frame (106) for a guided insertion and adjustable grip of power cables of various diameters. The skeleton model (102) is provided with plurality of spaced rib members (110) and at least one alignment arm (114). The rib members (110) are adapted to receive corresponding terminals (112) on said assembly of rigid-flex PCBA (104). The alignment arm (114) has a stepped profile to accommodate the bending and positioning of through-hole technology (THT) electronic components on said assembly of rigid-flex PCBA (104)."
