MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411021917 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 21, 2024, for 'cattle feeding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cattle feeding device, comprising a cylindrical body 1 developed to accommodate different type of fodders, a cylindrical frame 2 configured with the body 1 via a pair of rack and pinion gear arrangements 3 for translating the frame 2 in an upwards direction, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 mounted on the body 1 for detecting presence of fodders within the body 1, a pair of robotic arms 5 installed with the body 1 for thoroughly mixing the fodders, a circular plate 6 installed within the body 1 via a telescopically operated rod for lifting the plate 6 along with the fodders to allow cattle to consume the fodders, plurality of chambers 7 configured with the body 1 for storing different type of fodders and a suction unit 8 attached with a vessel configured with the body 1 for collecting the fodders."
