MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017985 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'cattle feed preparing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Laxmidhar Maharana.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cattle feed preparing device, comprising a platform 101 having a touch interactive display panel 103 accessed by a user to provide command for cutting fodders, a hollow inverted L-shaped channel 104 having opened ends, installed on platform 101 by means of a pair of extendible links 105 and a conveyer belt 106 housed in channel 104 over which user places fodder as notified by a speaker 107, plurality of load cells detect placement of fodder and accordingly to translate fodder inside channel 104, a motor spins a sharp blade 108 coupled with rotor of blade 108, for cutting fodder into fine pieces, in a manner that cut fodder fall into a container 109 placed underneath other end of channel 104, and a motorized mixing arrangement 110 mixes ingredients added by user in container 109 to fill to prepare a feed for cattle."
