MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036110 A) filed by Johnson Matthey Public Limited Company, London, on April 14, for 'catalyst article with high local rhodium concentration on ceria zirconia emission treatment system containing and exhaust gas treatment method using said catalyst article.'
Inventor(s) include Liu Dongxia.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a catalyst article for treating exhaust gas comprising: a substrate comprising an inlet end and an outlet end with an axial length L; a first catalytic region comprising support material particles; at least some of the support material particles are rhodium supporting support material particles having rhodium supported thereon at a concentration of from 0.001 to 3.5 wt.% based on the weight of the rhodium supporting support material particle; and the rhodium is present at a loading of up to 20 g/ft3 relative to the first catalytic region."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 01, 2024, under International application No.PCT/GB2024/050274.
