MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117042 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'cascade lifting device.'
Inventor(s) include Sanjay Choudhary.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cascade lifting device comprises of a platform 101 adapted to move autonomously over a ground surface, an input means 102 for enabling a user to provide input command regarding initiating lifting, a telescopic sliding frame 103 composed of multiple attachable and detachable stages includes a quick-attach module 108 with clamp-on brackets, and adjustable feet to anchor the platform 101 securely to fixed structures, a cable pulley cascade means 104 to facilitate upward and downward mobility of the frame 103 for enabling required lifting/lowering of a plate 105 attached with free-ends of the last stage, a motorized winch 106 operatively connected to the cable pulley cascade means for synchronized upward extension of all stages, at least one linear encoder sensor installed on each stage to track extension position and prevent desynchronization, a braking means 109 activated when a sudden loss of cable tension is detected to prevent uncontrolled descent/ lowering."
