Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Cas Polypeptides With Altered Pam Recognition' Filed by Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517090837 A) filed by Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., Johnston, U.S.A., on Sept. 23, for 'cas polypeptides with altered pam recognition.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to methods for altering the PAM specificity of Cas-alpha polypeptides.
