MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517036085 A) filed by Lenovo (SINGAPORE) Pte. Ltd., Singapore, on April 14, for 'carrier phase positioning reporting.'
Inventor(s) include Thomas Robin Rajan; Ben Hadj Fredj Abir; and Frank Colin.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to carrier phase positioning reporting. A network entity provides a carrier phase positioning reporting configuration to a user equipment. The user equipment generates one or more carrier phase measurement reports based on the received carrier phase positioning reporting configuration. The user equipment transmits the generated carrier phase measurement report to a network entity which may be the same network entity that the carrier phase positioning reporting configuration was received from or a different network entity."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050350.
