MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517013441 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 17, for 'carrier.'

Inventor(s) include Lee, Ju-Ho; Kim, Min-Tae; and Lee, Gil-Young.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A carrier according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a center pin which extends parallel to a winding shaft of an electrode assembly and penetrates a winding center hole of the electrode assembly a core and outer circumferential surface of which are defined as a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separated interposed therebetween are wound around the winding shaft; a support which is positioned at the lower part of the center pin and supports the electrode assembly from below; and a base which is positioned at the lower part of the support and comprises at least one pair of bearings configured to be rotatable on a plane perpendicular to the winding shaft."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/020477.
