MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007815 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'cargo container loading system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cargo container loading system, comprising a platform 1 to be engaged with a towing vehicle via a mechanical hook 2, a display panel 4 installed on platform 1 accessed by user to input command regarding number of cargo container to load on platform 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on platform 1 for capturing and determining position of user-specified container, a laser sensor installed on platform 1 and synced with imaging unit 5 for detecting container dimension, a pair of telescopic forks 10 arranged with plate for extending underneath container to accommodate container, followed by actuation of multiple primary motorized spherical members 12 attached on forks 10 for revolving to translate container towards a pair of flaps 13 attached on plate 6, and multiple secondary motorized spherical members 15 attached on flaps 13 for releasing container over plate."
