MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019359 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'cardboard box manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Akash Kumar Verma; and Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A cardboard box manufacturing device, comprising a frame 1 attached with plurality of chambers 13 stored with cardboards, a touch screen 2 installed on frame 1 for enabling a user's input commands, a pair of grippers 3 configured on frame 1 for gripping cardboard, a U-shaped member 4 installed on frame 1 via a rod 14 for securing staple pins, a robotic arm 5 configured on frame 1 for gripping pins, a camera 7 installed on frame 1 for determining cardboard location to be stapled, a platform 8 installed on frame 1 via a bar 9 for placing cardboard, an elongated plate 10 configured with member 4 equipped with a blade 11 for stapling cardboard and a telescopically operated pusher 12 installed within slot for pushing the pins."
