MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531018019 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'car seat mounted items organizing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A car seat mounted items organizing assistive device comprising a platform 101 attached with a vertical plate 102, positioned on back portion of a passenger seat of a car, a microphone 103 for enabling a user to provide input voice commands, a pair of extendable rods 104, each configured with a motorized clamp 105, for positioning the clamp 105 in proximity to the headrest, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 106 to determine height of the user, a drawer arrangement 107 to adjust positioning of the platform 101 in lap of the user, a flap 108 supported by a vertical bar 109, for enabling the user to securely place a smartphone on the plate 102, a motorized ball and socket joint 110 to adjust the plate's 102 angle, and an inflatable member 112 to get inflated for stabilizing the items placed thereon."
