The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a camera module having an OIS carrier suspension spring. The camera module includes: an AF carrier installed in a housing to be position-adjustable in an optical axis direction and having a central passage provided on the center of a bottom part thereof; an OIS carrier received in the AF carrier and having a lens module provided at the center thereof; and a suspension spring for elastically biasing the lens module toward the center of the AF carrier and lifting the OIS carrier from the bottom part of the AF carrier to enable the OIS carrier to move in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis. The present invention requires a simple support structure to support the OIS carrier and thus can omit many parts thereof, thereby requiring smaller number of parts and low unit cost and having a slim shape. In addition, even if the camera module is used for a long time, the support part for supporting the OIS carrier suffers no abrasion, thereby maintaining accurate operation precision."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 07, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/006072.
