MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547096009 A) filed by Qualcomm Incorporated, San Diego, on Oct. 6, for 'camera calibration based on information from external sources for vehicle applications.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for vehicle driving assistance systems that support image processing. In a first aspect, a method of image processing includes receiving, from a camera, first image data, from a first source, second image data and first pose information, and from a second source, third image data and second pose information. A field-of-view of the camera overlaps with a fieldof- view of the first source and with a field-of-view of the second source. Third pose information of the camera is determined based on the first image data, second image data, third image data, the first pose information, and the second pose information. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described."
