MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103993 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'calendar and date finding apparatus with leap year adjustment.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a calendar and date finding apparatus for determination of day correspondences within cyclic time functions. The apparatus comprises a base platform configured to provide positional stability and retention of rotational components, an inner wheel supported on the base platform and configured with circumferential month markings, an outer wheel concentrically supported about the inner wheel and configured with circumferential day-of-week markings, a linking arm operatively connected between the inner wheel and the outer wheel and configured to indicate positional alignment of selected dates with corresponding day values, and a gearing assembly supported within the base platform and adapted to impose compensatory adjustments for leap year variations."
