According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bus ticketing and passenger assistance system, comprising a horizontally sliding rail 201 mounted on the bus 301 ceiling, a sliding block 202 coupled to a pantograph arrangement 203 configured to extend and retract to reach passengers, an infrared sensor integrated to detect passenger presence and count, a processing unit configured to receive sensor data and regulate movement of the sliding block 202 and pantograph arrangement 203, a ticketing unit mounted at the end section of the pantograph arrangement 203 for fare processing, a cash handling arrangement integrated to receive, verify, and dispense currency, a plurality of motorized links 117 with soft grippers 118 for lifting and placing passenger luggage, and a holographic projector 119 to display seat allocations, journey updates, and emergency notifications."
