MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020389 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'bumper guard changing device for four-wheeler vehicles.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manojit Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bumper guard changing device for four-wheeler vehicles, comprises of a platform 101 positioned in proximity to a vehicle, a touch enabled screen 102 to give commands for installation of bumper guard, an imaging unit for detecting exact location of bumper, plurality of wheels 103 for positioning platform 101 in vicinity to edges of bumper, a telescopically operated rod 105 and equipped with a motorized brush 106 for cleaning edge of bumpers, a nozzle 107 via a bar and connected with a container stored with an adhesive solution for dispensing glue on the edge of bumper, a primary gripper for placing bumper guard on edge of bumper, an L-shaped pusher 110 to extend for adhering bumper guard with bumper edge."
