MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537116987 A) filed by Yungyung Co. Ltd., New Taipei City, Taiwan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'brew bag.'
Inventor(s) include Lan, Chi-Cheng.
The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A brew bag, which contains at least one filter bag. The at least one filter bag is used for containing a brew object. The at least one filter bag contains a reset carrier and a pressure-bearing body. The reset carrier is connected to the pressure-bearing body. After the brew bag is pressed downwards by means of a heavy object so as to be completely immersed in hot water, the brew bag can return to the original shape thereof by means of the rebounding of the reset carrier, such that the brew object in the filter bag has sufficient space to stretch and be uniformly brewed, and thus the brewing concentration of a beverage is more uniform."
The patent application was internationally filed on May 16, 2024, under International application No.PCT/CN2024/093665.
