MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202523134058 A) filed by Endurance Technologies Limited, Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'brake disc assembly for a two-wheeld vehicle.'
Inventor(s) include Aswinsriram Alagarsamy; and Dinesh S. Shinde.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a brake disc assembly for a two-wheeled vehicle, comprising a brake disc and a tone ring joined together. The brake disc is an annular structure with a central opening, an outer annular region, and an inner annular region projecting radially to form an annular step in the axial direction. The outer annular region includes uniformly spaced circular holes for heat dissipation and weight reduction, while the inner annular region includes trapezoidal petals and mounting holes for secure attachment. The tone ring is also an annular disc with a central opening and multiple radially positioned slots to facilitate wheel speed detection. Two tone ring configurations are disclosed, the first one with a circular outer periphery and another with triangular ear lobes uniformly spaced around the periphery. The tone ring may be either press-fitted or spot welded to the brake disc, allowing modular assembly and facilitating customization and maintenance."
