MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641007626 A) filed by M/S Mci Defence Technologies Private Limited, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on Jan. 27, for 'brahm kavach: an ai-enabled multi-domain threat detection and counter-drone system for 360- degree protection across air, surface, and underwater domains.'
Inventor(s) include Mr. Sarb Raj Singh Anand.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 13, under issue no. 07/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: ""BRAHM KAVACH: AN AI-ENABLED MULTI-DOMAIN THREAT DETECTION AND COUNTER-DRONE SYSTEM FOR 360-DEGREE PROTECTION ACROSS AIR, SURFACE, AND UNDERWATER DOMAINS" is an indigenous, world's 1st multi-domain counter-drone defence system designed to detect, deceive, and neutralize hostile manned and unmanned vehicles (UVs) across land, Air, Surface and underwater environments. The system integrates AI-based sensor fusion-combining radar, EO/IR, acoustic, and RF inputs-with real-time threat classification algorithms. Upon detection, it deploys autonomous electronic deception protocols including GPS spoofing, RF jamming, and communication disruption, followed by human authorised kinetic interception using interceptor drones or directed-energy payloads. The architecture is modular, scalable, and interoperable with existing command-and-control networks such as AOCC/SOCC. Brahm Kavach's adaptive swarm recognition and deception capabilities offer strategic advantages in asymmetric warfare and infrastructure protection. Its deployment versatility spans naval, marine, offshore assets, naval bases and border zones. The invention ensures rapid response, indigenous innovation, and export potential, positioning India as a leader in next-generation counter-drone technologies."
