MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511117060 A) filed by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Nov. 25, 2025, for 'box packaging assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A box packaging assistive device comprises of a platform 101, a holder 102 attached to the platform 101 via a L-shaped rod 103, the holder 102 configured to hold boxes for labeling, an imaging unit 104 installed on the platform 101 to detect dimensions of the accommodated box, an expanding pulley arrangement 105 integrated within the holder 102, operable in conjunction with the imaging unit 104 to securely hold the box, a motorized spool 106 attached to the platform 101 to store leveling stickers, operatively coupled with a pair of robotic grippers 107 provided with the platform 101 for sticker handling, a vertical cutter 108 connected to the telescopic bar 109 to cut leveling stickers prior to application, operable based on imaging unit's measurements, a motorized roller 110 via a L-shaped telescopic pole 111 to apply force on the box during leveling."
