MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024857 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'bow making device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bow making device comprises of a rectangular base 101 having a plurality of rollers 102 used for bow making, a pair of rigid rods 103 which are vertically mounted on base 101 of sliding units 104 for stacking of straps between rods 103 for making bow, a pair of robotic arms 105 to grip and pull ribbons from rollers 102 and place ribbons between rods 103 to make the bow, L-shaped telescopic bar 106 attached on base 101 of a first ball and socket joint 107 having a motorized cutter 108 end for cutting dispensed ribbons, adhesive tank 109 to dispense adhesive between ribbons, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 112 with a processor for recording and processing images, a ultrasonic sensor to determine color and length of ribbons, a microcontroller to actuate arms 105 to grip and pull ribbons from rollers 102 and place ribbons between rods 103."
