MUMBAI, India, April 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411071010 A) filed by Chandigarh College Of Engineering, Mohali, Punjab, on Sept. 19, 2024, for 'bottle assembly with a reinforced sealing.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Ritu; and Ayush Amgotra.

The application for the patent was published on April 10, under issue no. 15/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bottle assembly (100) designed with a reinforced sealing arrangement for optimal protection, features an enclosure (101) with an upper end (102) capped by a sealing cap (106) and a lower end (103) equipped with a base. A head seal (107) at the top of the enclosure (101) prevents fluid leakage and maintains the integrity of the enclosure's (101) contents. At the lower end (103), a base seal (105) with a circular seal element (109) covers the bottom of the enclosure (101). Integrated into the base seal (105) is a hanging circular pull-tab (104) that extends outward, facilitating easy user engagement. Pulling the hanging circular pull-tab (104) displaces or removes the base seal (105), rendering the enclosure (101) unusable for subsequent refilling or resealing and ensuring it remains a single-use container once the seal is breached."
