MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005866 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'boiler cleaning assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Aakriti Mahajan; Ashmeet; Sonia; and Bhupinder Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a boiler cleaning assistive device, comprising a body 1 positioned within a boiler that is to be cleaned, plurality of motorized wheels 2 attached beneath the body 1 for maneuvering the body 1, a camera 3 mounted over the body 1 analyzing boiler dimension along with condition of debris build up within the boiler, multiple pneumatic pins 4 installed within the wheels 2 attached with multiple suction cups 5 for maintaining grip on the surface, plurality of containers 6 attached with a spraying unit 7 attached via a telescopically operated rod 8 for spraying solution over the debris, a wedge shaped plate 9 attached with the body 1 for loosening and removing the debris, a suction unit 10 installed with the body 1 to draw the debris within a receptacle 11 attached over the body 1."
