MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022396 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on March 22, 2024, for 'body frame of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a body frame (102) of a vehicle (100) adapted to mount a rear suspension member (128). The body frame (102) includes a head tube (202), a first cross frame (206) connecting a first pivot frame (216L) and a second pivot frame (216R), and a suspension support member (234). The main frame (204) is a substantial straight member that extends in a rearward and downward direction from a head tube (202) to the first cross frame (206). The suspension support member (234) is connected to an end portion (212) of the main frame (204) and is adapted to mount the rear suspension member (128). A swingarm (126) swingably couple at least one rear ground engaging member (114) to the body frame (102). Further, the rear suspension member (128) is adapted to couple the swingarm (126) to the suspension support member (234) of the body frame (102)."
