MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026136 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'body core strength enhancement exercise device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh Brar; Dr. Chamkaur Singh; Lucky; and Abhay Nanda.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A body core strength enhancement exercise device, comprises of a rectangular frame 1 installed on a ground surface via multiple rods 2, a first platform 5 configured with the rods 2 on one side of the frame 1 for accommodating a user desiring to performing body core strength enhancement exercise, multiple extendable plates 3 to walk over the plates 3 and reach a second platform 10 installed with the rods 2 on other side of the frame 1, a touch enabled screen 6 to select level of the exercise, a ladder for allowing the user to ascend on to rotate for wrapping/unwrapping the strings 4 for maintaining a height different between the plates 3, a pair of motorized sliders for translating the rollers 7 towards/away from each other, and a motorized hinge for providing to-and-fro motion to the rollers 7 to provide swinging motion to the plates 3."
